Kıraça Automotive Industries and Investments Inc. is the parent of the Kıraça Group of companies and is an investment company founded in 1998 with the following goals; putting the investments in excess capacity in the automotive sector to work for the Turkish economy, exploiting the growth potential that existed in the market for light commercial vehicles, bringing order to the chaos that existed among independent distributers of automotive spare parts by introducing a new marketing and distribution model, and engaging in international trade. The first acquisition for the Kıraça Group of Companies was an %82 stake in Karsan, a firm that was manufacturing light commercial vehicles under a Peugeot licence. The group then become involved in spare parts distribution (Karland), spare parts manufacturing (Kırpart) and under a licensing agreement; Karsan also began contract-manufacturing Ducato vehicles for Fiat in 2000.Today, the seven Kıraça Companies are engaged in manufacturing , and marketing. The goals for the future encompass expanding in these sectors as well as into new ones.Kıraça's basic management philosophy is respect for people and a professional approach.
